The King Blues

Punk and Poetry has recently cemented The King Blues as one of the UK’s biggest bands. We picked them up round the back of the Underworld at the Camden Crawl and ‘Headbutt’ epitomises the latest release to a tee. Angry yet poetic, with an ever present political tone.

New Cassettes

The Northampton-based band have already done wonderful things…like, supported the Strokes, played the BBC Electric Proms and toured Japan. We crammed them in the camper to listen to this lovely little version of their new track, Straight Lines.

Tubelord are one of the country’s leading upcoming bands and the Biffy-esque Kingston based quartet’s way of seamlessly taking you to a million different places within one song let alone a whole set make it impossible for anyone to argue any differently. They joined us backstage at this years Y Not festival and treated us to Propeller B-side ….. “Cartwheels in Delaware”

Johnny Foreigner

Massively excited when this session was confirmed for the Crawl. JoFo offer as much energy offstage as they do on it as they showed at the time when rightly leading the retaliation towards the NME editor who ‘dissed’ Record Store Day. That said it was very intriguing to see what they would serve up in the camper. They did not disappoint. For fans of Los Camp, Dananananaykroyd and previous camper session fav’s Tubelord.

Benjamin Francis Leftwich

Benjamin Francis Leftwich, an artist who has been receiving a lot of attention of late, is more than deserving of it. His soulful voice and emotive performances sets him aside from the much of the current music scene. On a side note he also is certain to have swooning ladies following him from gig to gig, in which case- he’s welcome in our Camper anytime!
